Edinburgh Tourist Information DirectionsBy car: Edinburgh is easily accessible from the motorway network (M8, M9 and M90). As you approach Edinburgh take the City by-pass (A720). Exit at Sheriffhall Roundabout, take the A7 and head for the city centre. Stay on the A7 which becomes Dalkeith Road. Turn right at the Royal Commonwealth Pool onto Holyrood Park Road (approximately 4 miles) and the entrance to Pollock Halls is approximately 200m on the right. The University of Edinburgh is situated approximately three miles south of the city centre. Parking is available at the halls of residence on a first come first served basis. Car Sharing:If you are interested in travelling with others in order to reduce costs and fuel emissions or just for the company we are happy to try and match you with other delegates in order to car share to the conference. Edinburgh International Aiport has direct flights throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. The airport is approximately 7 miles from the University campus and is linked to the city centre by the 100 bus service. The journey from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 25 minutes.
